in Washington, DC, where he worked 11 years as a
video and satellite television producer, public affairs officer,
and distance learning specialist. (1989-2000)
Was born in Washington, DC, where he grew up in the
suburbs in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Graduated with honors from Archbishop Carroll High School
in Washington, DC, ranked 2nd in his class of 200 students,
and received the Silver Medal for General Excellence.
Graduated from the University of Maryland with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree - Magna Cum Laude,
in Radio, Television, and Film production.
Took a job transfer with USDA and moved to San Diego, CA,
where he worked as a public affairs officer for the
USDA Forest Service. (2000-2002)
Began his professional career at Arbitron Ratings
in Laurel, MD, where he worked for 9 years as a field
interviewing manager and survey coordinator. (1981-1989)
Launched Tomsfeet Productions to embark on a career as a
motivational speaker and independent TV and video producer.
Worked on the television production crew for CBS's
Latin Grammy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA
Earned his Masters Degree in Educational Technology
from the University of Maryland, graduating with a
perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Received Telly Award as executive producer for "Partners
Video Magazine"
Received Telly Award, Aegis Award of Excellence, and Aurora
Awards - Platinum - Best of Show as executive producer for
"Partners Video Magazine"
